This place has really gone downhill. We made a reservation for four, and when my wife arrived at the parking lot, her sisters showed up unexpectedly. She called from the parking lot to ask if we could add two more to our reservation, but they said they were fully booked because of Father's Day and couldn't accommodate us. However, when we walked inside, the restaurant was only about 25% full. I asked at the front counter if they could add two more, and they said it was no problem. Wow. For that kind of money, you 'd expect better. It started out nice. We were seated quickly and they had partitioned off an area for our 12-person group. But it didn 't impress after that. We saw only ONE employee, our server, come to our table during the entire 3 hours we were there. No one else came to offer water, clear dishes, ask if anyone needed anything. Just him. And the poor guy spilled a large drink straight off the bat. And he was the one who had to do all of the work cleaning that up, too! Tried this place on a whim with a group of us and it turned out to be a good choice. The atmosphere is a bit classier but not to the point you have to dress up beyond a pair of jeans and a nice shirt. The waiter who served the group was direct and appeared to be a bit short at first but warmed up to the group towards the end of the meal. He was good at making sure no drink glasses were empty and the table was kept clean between meal courses. The food was better than anticipated. The reviews I had read prior to coming didn't inspire. One is one too many stars for this place. First time in a longtime and last time. First off when I opened my napkin it was dirty....ok ask for a new napkin. The waiter comes by and ask for our drink order...I order a strawberry margarita....comes back....no strawberry mix....order another drink...out of the type of tequila...end up giving up and having a diet coke. Here’s what I ordered:
1) The mushroom appetizer was served cold and lacked flavor.
2) The steak tips were mediocre.
3) The gnocchi with palmina sauce was alright, but the sauce was missing the rich, hearty taste I’ve enjoyed for the past 30 years.
4) The filet was just okay, quite small, and I was overcharged for an 8 oz portion since I was billed for 10 oz.
The service was disappointing as well—our waitress was unfriendly, I had to hand her our used plates, and she didn’t even refill our water. We ordered veal, branzino, and a special chicken and shrimp dish. Everyone began with the house salad, which featured a delicious dressing. I also tried the leek and potato soup, and it was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it—I’d come back just for that soup and wish they served a bowl instead of a cup. Truly amazing! The veal Saltimbocca was excellent and very hearty. The chicken and shrimp dish was visually appealing, and my friends really enjoyed it. The shrimp were enormous! As for me, I had the branzino, which was one of the best I've ever tasted. It was cooked to perfection, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. The skin was wonderfully crispy—simply stunning!
Even though I have been going to other restaurants in this location chain, its has been a few years. I want a place I could get a reservation for the Friday evening after Thanksgiving and this was second choice. It wasn't busy at all and had plenty of parking. My table mates were just as familiar with the chain. One order the duck, another pasta with sausage, and I got pasta with marinara sauce. Service was typical for this level of restaurant, but the food was average at best. Only had one dessert this evening and none of us wanted that one so no one ordered dessert. Everyone can have an off night but it wasn't up to the level I remembered from other locations.
Updated review. Enjoyed a meal last evening, late Valentine's Day with my wife. Service was as usual exceptional. Cooper was our server. He is very good. We've had many good servers here. We've seen two get promoted. We always get the filet. Other dishes friends have had have always been good. This is place where couples enjoy the booths. And business people and larger groups enjoy the larger tables at the same time. My wife posted, I've never been disappointed here. I agree. A very well run restaurant. You know it's on point when the manager stops by every time. Have been here for many years now. Well done. Oh, do try the Kit Kat for desert, friends.

The menu offers classic Italian dishes, and we began with tasty appetizers: arancini served with marinara, fried zucchini, house-made bread with olive oil, and calamari. We decided on a bottle of wine, but the waiter pointed out an error on the wine list. The appetizers were definitely the highlight of our meal. The pasta dishes were generous in portion but lacked seasoning, making them less memorable. For dessert, we enjoyed cheesecake and cannolis, both of which were excellent. Overall, it was a pleasant spot for a special occasion, though a bit expensive, and the main courses didn’t quite meet expectations.
