Extremely rude experience. I walked in with my kids, and my oldest son immediately received a terrible look as we entered. While I was looking for the menu, I noticed a man at the front whispering to the waiter and shaking his head in our direction. We stood there waiting to be greeted or at least welcomed, but nothing happened. So, we decided to leave right away.
I ordered the fried tilapia, chicharrón with yuca, and some pupusas. Everything was excellent, and the portion sizes were just right. If you order an appetizer or side along with an entrée, you’ll definitely be satisfied unless you have a big appetite. The limeade was refreshing and had the perfect level of sweetness. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!
The pupusas here are the best around! My favorites are the revueltas and corn ones. I also love their plantains and fried yuca with pork cracklings. Don’t forget to try their drinks—horchata and tamarind are delicious! The fried chicken with waffles was incredibly crispy. Since I’m feeling under the weather, I’m planning to try the chicken soup tonight.
