When we arrived, all the tables were dirty, and we had to wait for them to clean some. The service was quite disappointing. They mistakenly included the wrong meat in my wife's dish, so she had to reorder. Our waitress was very slow and didn’t seem to be efficient. She didn’t refill our drinks and also failed to bring more salsa as promised. The food was just average; we’ve had better Mexican cuisine at Mexican Gardens, which I recommend instead. We probably won’t be returning.
The other reviews must be fake. We ordered the steak fajitas and enchiladas. The steak was rock hard and extra chewy with bland seasoning. Almost like rubber. The enchiladas were almost inedible they were so horrible. Rice was very bland. The waitress brought salsa but no chips. We had to get up and ask the waitress for chips. She never came by once to ask how the food was. The salsa had a rotten tomato taste. Won't be e back. Try somewhere else.

Truly a gem of downriver. The food is great outside of downtown, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. You just can’t beat the warm vibes and delicious food.
