Parking can be a bit challenging, but there's a designated space for disabled access, and the restaurant is conveniently located near Irchester Land Park, perfect for a walk afterwards. The prices are affordable, and the portion sizes are generous. Just keep in mind that the food is more akin to a local café than a high-end restaurant, in line with the relaxed atmosphere. They also offer vegan cakes from a local bakery; these are slightly pricier but absolutely delicious and hard to find elsewhere. The layout is well-spaced for COVID safety, and the staff are friendly. It feels great to support a business that gives back to the community.
The cafe was not what we expected. We came for afternoon coffee and cake. Parking was a nightmare and there weren’t any cakes at all! We had lasagne and full English. The food was fine if not a little on the unhealthy side. It’s basically a vegan greasy spoon kind of place, which is perfectly fine just not what we had in mind. They sell bits and bobs in the cafe too like tempeh and treats. Go if you’re in the area and do support the sanctuary!!
Great cafe with 100% vegan food and situated at a vegan Sanctuary. The lady who cooks the food is always very welcoming and friendly. Choices such as lasagne, shepherd's pie, all day breakfast plus lots of goodies to buy for dessert. What's not to love? Meet the resident animals and then eat in the cafe after.
We had the cooked breakfast with a pot of tea, it was delicious. Good value for money. This is a Cafe not a health food restaurant which I personally found quite refreshing. I was accompanied by a non Vegan who equally enjoyed their breakfast. The only down side is parking is very limited.

Had some super tasty cakes before wandering the sanctuary. The prices were super cheap for many menu items and the profits go towards the sanctuarythe cakes were really delicious, super sweet so definitely a treat!
Fabulous friendly faces serving up a range of totally vegan dishes. All reasonably priced supporting a no kill shelter whys not to love?
had the vegan breakfast it was nice. sell them also here vego bars, so one picked up. really friendly staff
