The food at this place was delicious. I've never eaten at an airport cafe so I was surprised to find a variety of tempting choices at this type of location. My friend ordered a chile relleno omelette with chile verde on top and home fries and I had the the pancakes with eggs, bacon and sausage. I sampled my friends chile verde and though it had a good flavor the chile needed salt. The home fries were delicious and complimented the omelette nicely. We visited the El Monte Airport for lunch, and the weather was absolutely lovely. From there, you can enjoy views of Mt. Wilson and the surrounding TV towers. The restaurant is conveniently located within the airport, and it was very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly, and you have the option to dine indoors or outdoors. We enjoyed watching the little planes either parked or preparing for takeoff, and there were also two helicopters in view. It was fascinating to see the planes land and take off. Food was great! Large portions. I had the avocado omelet. It came with hasbrowns and toast. Other family had biscuits and gravy, chorizo and eggs, and pancake breakfast. Everyone was very happy with their food and the staff was all wonderful and attentive.
I absolutely love this place! It was a fantastic experience dining while watching the airplanes take off. I highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely be back soon!
This restaurant, conveniently situated at the airport, provides excellent service and tasty food. The views are spectacular as well. I can't wait to visit again!
