We arrived at Wantagh only to find that they don't accept an online waitlist. When I called ahead, the hostess mentioned there might be a short wait. I specifically explained that we needed a table for eight and a high chair, and she assured me it wouldn't be a problem. However, when we arrived 20 minutes later, we were informed that the wait would be an hour and a half. Not only did this ruin my birthday celebration, but we also had to scramble to find another restaurant, as we couldn't wait in the parking lot with three kids.

We had a reservation with our baby and they couldn’t sit us until 20 minutes after we got there because they said they will seat whoever comes in and it doesn’t matter if you made a reservation or not. I had a hungry baby, and they did nothing to facilitate anything or make it up to us. Food was not great either.
Anthonys is good, perfect for a quick dinner with kids or just a casual dinner. The variety of pies meets everyones wants. We got there and there were so many people. They honored the open table reservation time. (others waiting had just put their names on the wait list). The pies were fresh. Will def return.

The staff is consistently friendly, and the food is always delicious! We've sampled a variety of pizzas, all of which were fantastic, and the tuna focaccia sandwich is excellent. The tables are spaced well apart for social distancing, so I feel very comfortable dining here.

Good local pizza. Love the thin crust and that it is well done. Service was excellent. Waitress very attentive.
The bar can be noisy but the food and service are both good and worth every cent.
