My experience at Apna Punjab was quite good. I've passed by this restaurant many times, craving some quality Indian cuisine, so I decided to give it a try. I visited on a Saturday and was surprised to find that I was the only customer there. Additionally, the restaurant had a peculiar smell, which I haven’t seen mentioned in any reviews, so I hope it was just a temporary issue. Nice people, went for the buffet however we arrived when it was ending, they offered to make a few more items if we wanted. We decided to order off the menu instead. Not familiar with much Indian food, I ordered the Apna Punjab special as it had several things to try. All delicious items, the Naan was amazing and freshly cooked. Friend tried the Lamb Vindaloo, also great. I don't like overly spicy food, so it's great they offer spice levels and I went with mild. Had leftovers and ate it the next day, still great. First time at this restaurant. Arrived before the dinner rush. Started of with mixed vegetable pakora and samosa, which were amazing, along with mint chutney. Then ordered daal, mixed grilled vegetable , paneer kebab, roti, achari kulcha,and butter naan. All items were delicious and reminded me home. Woul go back again. I ordered a rose milkshake, but I’ve never encountered a milkshake served in a bowl before. What I received was more like flavored milk rather than an actual milkshake. Milkshakes are supposed to be thick, but this was simply a drink with ice in it. I was really disappointed.

I highly recommend the goat biryani and curry—they're absolutely delicious! I loved it so much that I ordered another to take home. The food was also prepared quickly, and the staff were very friendly. Food rating: 5/5.
