Italian restaurant Aposto is next to the Altstadt parking garage in Bamberg, where we had put the car for a Bamberg visit. Returning to our car and being peckish, the outdoor seating area of Aposto was beckoning. We had a nice sit-down with glorious weather. Aposto has a large selection of food and drinks on the menu. I must say that the food I selected, salmon with potatoes, seasoned with rosemary, was well prepared and tasty and the large jar of beer was just right. The service was friendly, but very inefficient, so waiting times were too long. Was it busy then at Aposto? No, it was a bit after regular lunch time; not many tables were occupied. But even to get our drinks on the table took...
Came to the restaurant by accident. Actually we wanted to visit another restaurant but we ended up in Aposto. Nothing special the restaurant an Italian restaurant. Nevertheless the pizza was good but the service was not fast. The time for ordering and later paying was quite long. In addition it seems to be a student restaurant. Overall it was quite loud in the restaurant. In summary I might be back for another pizza but will try another location first. Try it by yourself I would suggest.
Large and busy restaurant offering quite a few vegan options due to them having vegan cheese. Their homemade pasta as well as the pizza dough are vegan by default which is also nice. Staff were lovely and knowledgeable about veganism. Even though a lot of dishes are marked vegetarian, most can be made with vegan cheese, so that's a big plus. They were more than happy to veganise a pasta bake, so it came with vegan cheese without any surcharge.
we came to eat. obviously they have changed their menu as there are no vegan calzone and vegan cheese options anymore. I ordered the vegan pasta that tasted a small gland, but okay. the pizzabrot as a starter was good. as now they offer two vegan starters, two vegan salads, two vegan pasta options and two pizzas on request vegan made. make sure to book a table in advance, it was very busy!

We parked our car in the garage below the restaurant and were so lucky to check their menu before leaving since they had both vegan cheese and lots of pizza/salad/pasta options for vegans. The pornstar martini cocktail was amazing too! If we ever go back to Bamberg we'll definitely be back here!
I would join my predecessors: the aposto is good for mixed groups, because on the map everyone finds something for themselves. in the evening there was a jumbo action, so we got a huge calcone. very tasty and the young staff was very friendly.
the delivery time was in normal and as already mentioned on Sunday evening. supplier was very nice! eating was delicious and especially that dessert was mega nice dressed!
eating came fresh, but it was hardly seasoned. salt and pepper would be least. It could also be a bit more generous for the price. the supplier was very polite and nice.

the aposto was the first restaurant offered in bamberg the pizza with vegan melt. the prizes are a bit up, but for that they get a lot.
