We have been here a number of times , food never dissapointed except this time was underwhelming . Baby clam pasta was bland , broccoli was subbed for asparagus on entrees ,never mentioned .Staff was wonderful , outdoor ambiance was wonderful but unfortunately a little too pricey for lack of consistancy 20 cocktails were a surprise
I have eaten here many times over the years and last night’s meal was very mediocre. The fettucine Bolognese was tasteless and the fist glass of wine had turned and needed to be replaced. Service was only fair… all in all a disappointing dinner at Applausi.
The food was incredible—definitely some of the best in the area! However, the service could use some improvement; everything felt a bit delayed, and once we were at the table, it seemed rushed.
