Food was great, staff were friendly, atmosphere was very low key, comfortable, and welcoming. First time here and definitely will go back. Had the pulled pork crepe and it was delicious! They have QR code on the tables where you can order from or at the counter. One of the items was out of stock so I went to the counter to order and asked about the K-pop crepe. It was the batter they didn't have and offered an alternative to the batter but decided to go with the pulled pork. 5/5 would recommend
Came here for brunch on a Monday morning. The food was amazing. You order at the counter and a chef brings it out. There was no one else there which was nice but the place seemed empty and the temperature inside was pretty cold. We got a quiche, the Reuben and French toast sticks for our toddler. The French toast sticks were a hit with our toddler and I really enjoyed the Reuben. The food came on metal plates. We also got two cookies on the way out. Chocolate chip was great.
This is my favorite lunch place in Stowe! Get Vermonter to the Core panini or turkey rueben and hard sider flight of Grateful Sled, Soul Shifter, and others. I would say that Grateful Sled and Soul Shifter are two best ones they have. I love Vermonter! My husband and two sons love turkey rueben. And then go and get HOT donuts and also get their small bottle apple cider to go.
Tourist trap. Trying to be too much. Especially in regards to the tasting room. Called to make sure it was open- showed up. Cafe open but not tasting room. Two totally different environments. This is not the first time their hours and what is truly open has been wrong online or when calling to ensure. The donuts aren’t even that good. Just don’t bother. written by a local. I can't recommend Cold Hollow Cider Mill Café enough! The food is absolutely phenomenal—I often drive from Barre just for breakfast. The service is exceptional, with friendly front desk staff and cooks who go above and beyond. Every visit is a delight!
We had a fantastic time at Apple Core! So fantastic that we came two days in a row. Day 1, we enjoyed cider flights in the comfy cidery. Day 2, we had lunch in the cafe and everything was DELICIOUS! thank you for a great time!
We’ve eaten here about 5 or 6 times on our visits to Stowe and food is always top notch.
