I had to send back my food and tea because one was burnt and the other was sour and old. I've usually had good experiences with both the food and service here, and I understand that sometimes people have off days. I've been there myself and recognize that it's especially tough for the waitstaff, who often bear the brunt of the blame for issues beyond their control. In this instance, I believe the kitchen could use some help. Thank you.
1. While our waiter was taking our order, we noticed an unpleasant odor. Each time the waiter came to our table, the smell followed him. It turned out he had a strong body odor reminiscent of a locker room, which really spoiled our evening – we found ourselves fanning the air each time he approached. 2. I would understand if they were busy. But it seems every time I try to eat at one of these places, I'm standing waiting for a seat for over 10 mins. It looks like they have only one or two servers, and not host/hostess. So who's supposed to seat me? Why am I standing in a mostly empty restaurant? I just decided to go to longhorn.

The menu is heavily focused on fried food, and the broccoli was consistently disappointing. The waiter did a decent job, but there should definitely be more options for non-fried dishes.
Thank you Applebee's for making my Veterans day that much better.. the food was great, service was great, and the beer was cold.
