Last night I got there around 8.45 pm with 2 friends from out town party of 3) , the place was not packed..... maybe about 8 tables . I was told that my wait will be around 30 mins, according to the host each waiter had 4 tables each and they did not want to back up the kitchen... I was puzzled... the place was deserted..... and I saw plenty of waiters.... on the other hand, I think you could have said.. I will give you a free drink if you could wait about 30 mins while seated....I would have been all over that... instead the host did not even say I am sorry or anything when I said I will just go somewhere else. I took my business somewhere else.... I crossed the street and ate at Icrab.. se...
Unfortunately, I will never return to this Applebee's again. My 10-year-old loves the place, but after this experience, we won’t be back anytime soon. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip, and it arrived with broken chips on a tray and a cup of dip that was barely half-filled. My daughter found a hair in her kids' chicken fettuccine. I ordered a medium-well steak, but it arrived so bloody that my sides were swimming in its juices. When I asked for it to be cooked longer, it took a while, and by the time I got my steak, I had already finished my sides with nothing to eat with them. Every time I visit, I'm consistently let down. I go, regret it because the experience is terrible, then come back two years later only to be disappointed once more. I just wanted some comforting food at home on a Friday night without having to cook. My nachos had hardly any cheese, with only large chips and toppings slipping off. The bourbon chicken and the captivating caps tasted the same—underwhelming and bland. The only things that seemed properly heated were the fried items and shrimp, which I assume were the only dishes actually cooked through.
I previously thought the service at the Applebee's in Bethlehem was poor, but the experience at this location was truly disappointing. The waitress had absolutely no customer service skills. We had to ask for everything. It seems like common sense to offer ketchup when someone orders fries. And servers, if you’re reading this, please offer drink refills without customers having to ask. This will be my first and last visit to this location.

We had a great experience. The waitress was in training but took excellent care of us and you can tell her mentor was very knowledgeable. This is a top secret happy hour location with the $5 Long Island Iced Teas and Blue Bahama Mamas. Forget the overpriced bars and bourgeois restaurants, go here. Great food and drinks. Will definitely be back.
I’m sorry to say that I was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered at home, but it took an incredibly long time for the appetizer to arrive. By the time it finally did, we had already finished our meal. When I finally opened the box at home, I was surprised to find only three shrimp in my shrimp and chicken dish.
Im on vacation and The wait time was extra long for the place to be fairly empty. The server was not on top of game. We waited a very long time for are food. My food looks weird because of all the tomatoe juice in my white sauce which made it look? and the bathroom was beyond filthy. The server never checked on us.
My husband, our dog Etta, and I want to praise the entire staff for their exceptional service. Their friendliness and attention to detail were unmatched. A big shout-out to our server Pete, one of the newest team members, whose attention to detail was flawless. We truly appreciate such excellence!

A very friendly local Neighborhood Restaurant. I felt welcome from the time I walked in the door the waitress was very informative and made us feel like we were at home. I highly recommend this place!
The menu selection is limited. The seasonal drinks look appealing but taste watered down. Service is average. It’s not my favorite place, and I won’t be returning.
