We ate dinner and breakfast here while staying at the hotel. I don't usually dine in the hotel, but a friend and advised me that it was a local favourite. We booked ahead and had a window table. Dinner started with a beet salad which we shared. The kitchen split the serving so that we both had a lovely salad. It was tasty, innovative and stunning. Great start! We were not very hungry and also split our main. This came out in a platter and was the fish feature -- a fillet of snapper. The snapper was beautifully grilled and served with new potatoes, mini turnips, carrots and a tasty sauce making use of fresh peas. It was truly a dish of Ontario summer bounty. I took my elderly mom out for breakfast on a Saturday morning- We live nearby so we go there often. The breakfast was good. However, about halfway through the meal, while my moms plate was still half-full, the waiter brought us the cheque. We hadn't been there over 40 min yet- We had to leave. When we complained to Corine, the manager, she told us that this is "Marriot standard". We haven't visited since then. So be prepared to be rushed out if you are dining here. That is apparently their "standard"!
We had breakfast here after staying for one night at the hotel. Waitress was very good and was helpful as I have a gluten allergy. Was very impressed their menu noted gluten free options. Breakfast was very good and we went away full and satisfied. If we ever visit Kingston again, we will definitely eat here.

Staff is excellent and service attentive. Window seating available. Food is very good, executive chef, with many options available (see online menu). Comfortable seating and extensive wine list. Worth a visit. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
The wait was incredibly long for a breakfast. An hour and 15 minutes with only 4 other tables. Food was well presented but really not delicious at all. Dry and bland. We paid $44 for breakfast, eek. The view is nice though and waitstaff friendly.
We stayed at the hotel 2 nights and ate breakfast on a Sunday morning. The menu offered a wide variety. We had omelets and toast with homemade berry preserves. The coffee was very good and the service was outstanding.
View of the lake was nice ,,service was nice, food etc and the burger was good and the salad was fresh and tasty. Nothing exceptional however. Could be updated in the food section .

Delightful waterfront fine dining. The lamb was excellent. Desert is always very good too. Not recommended for children.
We had the price fix menu and the food was fantastic. Would definitely go back next time we're in Kingston.
