The lunch special is the true gem of Araya's Place. This vegan restaurant prides itself in healthy Thai vegan offerings that can convince a ravenous carnivore to forego their meat-based diet for one that is just as tasty. I had their panang curry with pad thai, which is both delicate and delicious. The coconut milk mixed with the spice of the curry is incredible. The pad thai has a zing that perfectly balances with the peanuts atop it. Finally, I love their red bean pudding. I can't wait to return. Oh, they also have a full-service bar if you're into cocktails. :

There is an all you can eat buffet daily until 3pm for like $14. Did I say endless fried spring rolls and peanut sauce??! Um, yes I just did. The pad thai here is awesome. The food is always excellent. I live in San Diego now, and I really miss this place. The vegan Thai restaurants in San Diego where I live now are great. This one is a notch above those. If you don’t try the buffet here you are missing out. This is a must for vegans that love Thai. And this is the best location in my opinion (I’ve been to all 3). Omg. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The tom yum is out of this world amazing , i could drink this every day! So filled with lemongrass and all the right flavors. I also ordered their lunch special to go and you get SO much food! Pad Thai, curry of the day with rice, salad a dessert for like $15 or $16. I cannot say enough good things. I’ll dream of that tom yum for days!
I went to Araya’s every now and then before the pandemic. But now, it’s a takeout staple for me. The curries in particular travel especially well. So delicious. My favs are the panang curry, the avocado curry, and the brussel sprouts. The noodles are good in takeout, but better (obviously fresh at the restaurant. Book a table now
Everything was delicious, I could have made a whole meal from the amazing appetisers. The Thai tofu was so fluffy and the dipping sauce was gorgeous. The crispy spring rolls were the best I've ever tried. What a huge menu and everything on it sounded so good!
I got the lunch combo with a friend on the other day and we're both filled. the order of a la carte is more expensive, but it could be worth feeling a little silly after, unless they are ready to take extra home. then got a coffee.
I thought I would be disappointed about the buffet not existing anymore, but the lunch special is quite good and a generous portion for the money. Photo features the lunch special with extra black sticky rice.Food: 5/5
Delicious food in a casual but nice setting.I got the Thai Tea with Ice Cream, Pad See Ew noodles, and How Mok curry. All were good. I recommend mixing the drink to form a milkshake ;)Food: 5/5 Book a table now
Got some soup! It was good but a bit on the salty side I’m sure everything else is great too! Updated from previous review on 2022-02-22

"Amazing 360 degree views of Seattle and beyond! Makes the Space Needle look tiny from up there, and it's also nice that they offer food and beverages up there. Worth the cost of admission and uncrowded, even on the Saturday we went."
