Fantastic lunch. We made a trip to Rockport, the menu and the reviews tempted us to visit Archers. We were not disappointed. We were received and sat immediately and had drinks within minutes. Waitstaff was professional and friendly. We ordered lobster dip to begin, the warm crostinis was crisp, but not fresh from the oven, which was understandable. Lobster Rueben, Haddock Tacos and Sandwich, Lobster Melt (the open face was) and Bobby Flay Lobster BLT. Everyone was more than satisfied with his choice. The flavors were incredible, and the portions a lot. The view was stellar. If you find yourself nearby, it's a safe stop.
I absolutely love this restaurant! My husband and I had our first date here, and we’ve been fond of the place ever since. After five years, we returned and experienced fantastic service. Our waitress was wonderful and incredibly friendly, and we even had a visit from a harbor seal at our table! We both ordered the prime rib, which was delicious, and the onion rings were perfectly cooked. However, I wasn’t very fond of the Spanish risotto, as I found it a bit too rich for my taste. Overall, I highly recommend this spot. I live on Vinalhaven, and it’s always a joy to take a boat there for a nice evening out.
We are from Saratoga NY visiting family. Came for dinner and it did not disappoint! Lobster stew to die for! Kudos to the chef! Surf and turf cooked to perfection and hubby got the stuffed haddock which was also fantastic! However, service to us is key and ABBY deserves a raise! She was the only waitress we observed hustling the whole time and seemed to be covering a lot more tables than the rest and the entire time with a smile! When we visit Maine again, we will be back and hopefully Abby can be our waitress again. Glad we didn’t see the reviews prior to going, or we would have passed and missed out!
I enjoyed a late lunch on the deck, and the experience was wonderful. The view was fantastic, and the cocktails were incredible, although a bit pricey. The food was exceptional, and our server was excellent. I tried the lemon cooler, the drink special of the day, which was a delightful mix of gin, limoncello, lemon juice, and Sierra Mist. It reminded me of a gin and tonic but with much more flavor. The lobster reuben and crab quesadilla were both packed with seafood and absolutely delicious.

The food was really good. We had steamed clams and mussels, shrimp, whole lobsters, clam chowder and a fried shrimp sandwich and all of it was full of flavor and fresh. It was really busy for a Thursday night and we were prepared for a wait on our food but it only took about 20-25 minutes. So worth the wait.
Had a great lunch! Clam Chowder was awesome as was the Lobster Roll. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the view was great. If we are ever in the area again, I am sure we will stop here!
I went on a lunch date and had one of the best dining experiences. Everything from service, apps, cocktails and the meal could not have been better. Bravo!!!
