Most def' my happy place!! Discovered this place a few years ago, have visited several times since. The food is great, the location is AMAZING... so peaceful, on the water, on a sunny day, so idyllic! The staff are friendly, service fantastic! Have also introduced family friends to the delights of the AWC :D Soooo, highly recommended? Big/all day brekky, Egg bene' with smoked salmon... or pretty much *ANYTHING* you have will be great, I'm sure ;
Beautiful location. My husband and had the share platter and the mushroom gnocchi in a cream sauce. The share platter was lovely and the gnocchi would have to be the best we have tasted. The cream sauce was not overbearing. My daughter who is a bit of a plain eater just wanted the burger with cheese, lettuce and nothing else. The waitress said they don't have lettuce which was a bit disappointing. The food arrived promptly. Very nice place.
ordered christmaslate, the "pumpkin mixed salad salat, cherry tomatoes, pumpkin, beet root, feta, mandel pepitas w/ our house dressing. rock harder pumpkin, no pieces of beet root (only few stripes of rubbed root under the rocket. no mangle. general serve with much. Cherry tomato, dressing was beautiful, they should call it rocket and cherry tomato salad. coffee was good. service ok, table had not been wiped.
Attempted to get a takeaway coffee and icecream today only to be told they were closed at 14:05. Despite having a crying three year old child, we were told they wouldn't even sell us a takeaway icecream. This while there were still 10+ customers still...seated. Lost business and extremely rude/ surly staff. What a shame as it is a beautiful location. Book a table now
What a great find : awesome menu, generous servings with tasty quality food. Service was so good, waitress moved us to first available sunny position even though it was such a busy Sunday afternoon. A short walk for a bike ride or one of the most amazing kids park! We will be back thank you
the staff was helpful, coffee great and the seating was as always there is a caffe on the parramatta river. eating that was a bit more refined earlier has become too deep fried but generous portions, especially of chips. I would go back to eat here, probably not now, but it was much better.
We love coming here because Naomi always takes such good care of us! Exceptional service and professionalism. Have never had a bad meal or coffee. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends!
Service was slow and staff surly. Also, if you insist on card payments, no cash allowed, then add a surcharge, have you in fact advertised food at the correct price? Book a table now
