I immediately enjoyed the atmosphere when we went with a reservation early in the evening. I wish they had a beautiful music in the background and the women in our group were not blown away from the women's bath, but the men were pleasant. The staff was very attentive and our waiter knew the menu, although not to the extent I expected. The filled mushrooms were very well prepared and I was excited for our entrees as it seemed that there was an experienced chef in the back. What a delicious find! We were looking for food? at us after a beautiful sunset at Crown Beach. We had the heated garden for ourselves! The owner (I think) has described how everything is homemade? from the free Focaccia to the bucatini; he spoke to me in the perfectly stained Breanzino with lemon butter.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and the owners seem very friendly. I like the shrimp, but I took several guests here and they loved all their meals.
