I've eaten tons of Indian food all over Southern California, but none of them comes close to the taste, presentation, and the service here at Ashirwad. My partner and I were driving to Joshua Tree and found this restaurant on an Eater list, so we called ahead and placed an order for pick up. We ordered the dhokla, which is this delicious corn bread like gluten free bread topped with mustard seeds, coconut shreds, and cilantro, chef's choice uttapam, and thelpa with chole. I had never had uttapam this good and the thelpa was a tortilla-like bread with fenugreek leaves that was outta this world good with the chole (garbanzo bean curry). This place is so amazing, I can't even put into words! You just have to go visit and see for yourself. There is so much LOVE and PEACE in the environment alone. You have so many options to choose from, it's pleasantly overwhelming. And at reasonable costs too! The food is made with LOVE and tastes DELICIOUS. I had been here a few years back while visiting the Ontario area. And just made it back during another visit...What an improvement! The space looks much nicer and the food was delicious. They have a nice selection of Indian dishes and the staff was very friendly. We will absolutely go back to eat here the next we visit family in Ontario. If you're looking for a clean, Indian, vegetarian place to eat, give Ashirwad a try.
I've been here since the opening, and I'm not even disappointed! the owners are so sweet, and the servers are always great. I tried to eat the South Indian at other places in the Usa, and nothing beaten her. always so delicious and it is great to know how much love is brought into eating. for always eating my favourite place when I come home.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area--the food is AMAZING! All vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu, and every single dish is delicious and special. If you are feeling hungry try the Thali! Otherwise, I highly recommend their dosa's. I have never had such amazing food, and you can't beat the price!
I had fun picking something I never had. Instead picking the dishes I recognized I picked things I never had and was not disappointed I had the thepla bread with sweet pickle (vegetarian) and vada sambar (vegan) dumplings. The coconut chutney was to die for. It came with soup.
the decor is a bit boring, but eating is anything but! everything was amazing, most of the menu is vegan or can be made vegan. we ordered a few things to share, everything was amazing, the best Indian food I had in years!
We enjoy ordering delivery from Ashirwad. Every dish we have tried has been delicious, and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. Their dosas are fantastic, and my son particularly enjoys the vada pav.

the workers are super helpful, patient and very nice. and eating is so delicious. get the garlic naan and some samosas when they visit.
The new management is overcharging customers, which is not justified.
