The staff were ready to take orders promptly. My pasta dish arrived without the main ingredient, which was odd. It all went downhill from there. After the main course we waited at least minutes before we were offered a dessert menu. Then waited again for someone to notice we were ready to settle the bill. We had Tesco boost vouchers and they had used up both the vouchers even when the meal did not equal to the full amount of the voucher value, and after I had specifically advised the waitress I only wanted to redeem When I queried this and asked for the voucher to be taken off the bill and I would settle the difference and just a confirmation that the voucher hadn't been redeemed the waitres...
Open Table confirmed our reservation, but the restaurant had no record of it. Despite being fully booked, they graciously honored our reservation and seated us promptly. The service was efficient during peak hours, and our food was excellently cooked and beautifully presented. We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. The noise level was a bit high in the busy restaurant, and there was a bustling ambiance with lots of movement. Would we return? Absolutely.

Great setting looking over The Green. Excellent vegan options. Experience a little dented by screaming child so loud you couldn’t hear yourself let alone your dinner partner. Restaurant staff really should have suggested they leave to calm the child down. Book a table now
