We ordered a variety of starters, a sushi and sashimi platter, along with some individual sushi hand rolls. Everything was incredibly fresh and tasty. The drink selection was sufficient to meet most preferences.
The service was both friendly and efficient, striking a pleasing balance between formal and informal. Additionally, the prices are relatively reasonable for central dining, especially considering the quality offered.

mmm, crunchy. But seriously, the tempura are great and anything that are crunchy are crunchy. Service was great too. Although the place look quite dark from outside, the food are great and I didn't expect that. This place is underrated, I would definitely recommend you to come here to try them out! Great food, excellent service, we had a very pleasant dinner at Umi. The sushi and sashimi were well presented and were delicious. The tempura dish was as it should be delicately battered with the prawns (in this case crunchy and flavoursome. Finally, we had the spider roll, full of crab and taste. A decent bottle of South African sauvignon was appropriately priced, perhaps a NZ sauvignon as an option in the future (I'm a Kiwi . My favourite Japanese restaurant in South West London!! I come here all the time with my family and we all love it. The salmon teriyaki, tempura don and agedashi tofu are our favourite things to order here. had an amazing experience eating here, it would highly recommend! we later booked a table and even though they were busy, they could impress us. so glad that she was the sashimi fresh and the sushi was delicious. especially enjoyed the drachenrolle. the service was perfect, the personal was friendly, attentive and generous. will come back in future definitiw.
This restaurant is adorable, and I really appreciate the warm hospitality. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I would definitely return. Absolutely incredible Japanese cuisine with friendly service. I cannot recommend this place enough! The miso soup here is some of the best I've had, honestly! There’s a great selection of dishes and the portion sizes are huge—definitely worth the money. I plan to return; it feels like a little slice of home!
