We were so pleasantly surprised by dinner here we were booked into the hotel as s stopover, didn't realise the evening would be a highlight of the holiday in itself. At £35 for 2 courses or £45 for three, the food is not cheap...but we thought it was excellent value for the quality starter is preceded by perfectly-executed canapes, freshly baked bread, in our case accompanied by a whipped beetroot butter. I loved the whole experience. from the moment I saw on the doggy welcome bags, I was sold immediately and we were not disappointed. we were made to feel so welcome as a family, even if my teenage daughters are included in their room....Mays of hotels we visited have said that they are dog friendly, but this was really. eating was fantastic. the staff, exceptional, they are a credit to the hotel and really made the about all experience extra special. especially the two employees who worked on Friday night when we arrived, we were kind and nothing was too much of a request. the prospects were breathtaking. we cannot expect to return in the summer. thanks for a wonderful stay.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant, which features delicious Scottish ingredients. They were very careful and considerate of food allergies. I enjoyed the three-course meal of scallops, salmon, and venison, all cooked perfectly. The Amuse-Buche was creative, delicious, and memorable. The service was friendly and professional, without being overbearing. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. The decor has a classic charm, and the views are stunning. We stayed for one night at Bunchrew House Hotel (picked at random online) and ate dinner at the restaurant we were delighted with dinner and our stay! It's a little pricey but well worth it everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The dining...room is beautiful and there are lovely views (which would obviously last longer in summer The staff were lovely, warm and welcoming and really made us feel at home both at dinner and in the lounge and bar. Would highly recommend.

We went here on the last night of our stay at the campsite next to it so could walk there and have a drink. The set menu had some very different dishes on it but those that we had were excellent and there was something...for the vegetarian in our party. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable clean. The only thing i would say that if you are a person with a good appetite this might not be suitable place for you.
This is my second time visiting this traditional Scottish hotel for lunch. Upon arrival, guests drive through beautifully maintained grounds for half a mile before reaching the house and the firth. The service is top-notch and the food is delicious. The dining room offers stunning views of the firth. Additionally, they have an excellent wine selection. Overall, it was a perfect experience.
I recently tried the afternoon tea, dinner, bed, and breakfast deal at this restaurant and was absolutely impressed by the food. The chefs are incredibly talented. The gluten-free afternoon tea was delicious, but they really outdid themselves with the three-course gluten-free dinner. From dinner to breakfast, I was blown away by the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had, gluten-free or not!
I would highly recommend this hotel to to anyone, fab food and location. I was here a year ago for a friends get together which we all said the next day that we would love to come back. I hope to be back soon once...lockdown improves

We stayed for 4 nights and had without fail excellent imaginative food, from the amuse bouches all the way through to the desserts and always served with a smile by the lovely staff.
