We had a last minute recommendation for this place. Terrific little bar/restaurant hidden away in the back streets of Cibourne, away from the tourists. The waitress was warm and friendly, and helped us navigate our way around the menu (French/Basque). The ambience is relaxed, warm, and nice music playing in the background. Apart from the main menu they also serve pinxtos on the bar separately. We ordered a few dishes. One with the FRESHEST fish ever, with baked potatoes and salad, calamari, and a cheese platter, with walnuts and quince. We can't wait to come back!
Lovely little restaurant authentic and beautiful food, reasonably priced and superb atmosphere. Waiters all friendly and efficient and some spoke some English to help with translation of some of the more traditional dishes. The risotto is delicious it's not always on so you'll just have to keep going back until it is!
3 course menu, choice of 3 items only for each course, 25 euros, great value for the freshness and innovative skilled cooking. Welcoming, atmospheric, so pleased to have wandered here rather than the more touristy venues in St Jean de Luz.
Discovered this lovely bar/restaurant on a quiet side street. Lovely food and nice friendly service, waitress very helpfully translated menu for us. Would recommend a visit.
