We shared one vegetable soup, my husband had a cassoulet and I had a veal casserole. All the dishes were very tasty to our pallets. The food was cooked for locals rather than tourists. We enjoyed it much more compared to previous meals at touristy places. It’s a Monday night and the restaurant was almost full. We liked it so much so went back the second time. My husband enjoyed it as much as the first time, however, I ordered a salted fish dish by mistake and it was too salty to enjoy. This is due to my lack of French as the dish was meant to be salty. Service was good. Staff did not have much English but they tried very hard which made travelling more interesting!
While passing through, we stopped for lunch. 4-course menu at 26 euros per person, really great. Quality and very generous. Gazpacho as a cold starter (there was enough for at least 8 people in the soup tureen), candied gizzards with a small salad as a hot starter, veal axoa as a main course and a small pear sorbet to finish. A small sangria as an aperitif and a 50 cl pitcher of rosé from the owner, all for a total of 65 euros for the 2 of us. Very good value for money given the freshness of the products and the quantities. In addition my 2 cocker spaniels were welcome. Address to strongly recommend. Perfect. We will come back
It may be the only restaurant in town but it is also the best....not joking. Michel the owner is a delight, the service splendid but it's the food that is the real star. Local, fresh, reasonable, and lovingly presented. Great place to see the locals also and to enjoy their lives.
We found this restaurant in the family. It's a great discovery and we'll never miss going home. quality and quantity are in rv. do not hesitate to try the experience. you will find yourself in an old stable and if you love old tools and old boxes you will not be disappointed

Local starter grabure to get you warmed up, another starter with trout to continue and the main dish that was delicious, it all sums up to a nice evening in a small village of Montory. It is wise to make a reservation because week-end can get crowded!
Stopped for lunch, plat de jour, thick vegetable soup, lomo in thick cheese sauce with chips, pear Helene to finish. Tasty and filling. Good and friendly service nothing else need be said.
Such a find- so authentically local, amazing food and sensational staff. Friendly and willing to assist with us speaking little French. Great wine list all at incredible value.
Lovely terras and good food. We enjoyed also teh wine recommendation of the woman who served us. Really very kind and good service.
