I'd booked this for our first night in Sarlat and once we found it I'm easily confused in medieval pedestrian areas we had a terrific experience. Mirandol looks and feels right, and the waiters were friendly. We tried different foie gras which...is really fun as they vary from chilled, pale, and solid to warmed in a liquid (my favorite is balsamic vinegar) and tender like scrambled egg. The restaurant was full, but we chose our speed for eating (slowly). The wine recommendations were really good. After our very filling repast, we checked out the cave in the back. It was really neat now I want a house where the back wall is a cave opening in rock.
it was our first night in sarlat. eating was absolutely beautiful, staff very friendly. we knew we were coming back here. we decided that we would come to dinner a few days later. on Wednesday evening we booked a table for Thursday at 19 o'clock. we were very happy about it. we came to the restaurant around 19 o'clock and the door was closed with little notiz on the door and said because of covid the restaurant was closed. well fair enough, but no one was concerned to let us know very disappointed. it was such a scandal. many thanks to L’address for feeding us this night highly recommended
This review is being written after our meal at Auberge L'Esperance so anything I write about any other dining will pale in comparison. Mirandol is a very good meal at a fair price in a busy tourist area. Our waiters were super efficient almost to...the point of being rushed. The restaurant was packed but the small staff handled the crowd flawlessly. There is a limited menu and they do everything on it well. The foie gras was grand as was the duck dish. The only thing missing was ambiance. That is difficult to come by anywhere on Saturday night in Sarlat.
came here for Sunday dinner in juni, we sat outside, but there were some rain showers. after a while the waitress offered to move us to the house when we prefer it, but we were in order as we were. eating was absolutely beautiful and very good. worth sasiers salat and foie gras to start, both were amazing, margret de canard and confit de canard both with sarladaise kartoffels for pornstar, absolutely delicious. very friendly and helpful waitress. they will be recommending

We had a lovely outdoor dinner at this charming spot in the midst of the romantic old town, as night fell and the city's lights came on. The food was excellent and we were impressed by the attentive and personal service of our waitress Emily....Highly recommend.
around a wonderful evening. the location is beautiful, sitting in the old streets. that was delicious, we had the four-course menu. service was excellent, a look at the caves in the restaurant was an additional point of interest.
Lovely dinner of typical Perigourdin food. Perfection. While I knew that wine with the label, Bruno (for the detective series), might not be the best wine, I ordered it anyway just for fun.
Great restaurant in the center of the old town. Very hospitable, wonderful cuisine and great service at a very friendly place. Great cassoulet and desserts. Really worth a visit.
