We had lunch here (5 of us inbetween champagne tastings in this lovely part of the region. We didn 't realise that everything on the menu would be duck related and it was difficult to find something small (we had booked a restaurant elsewhere for the evening . The portions were absolutely massive and I don 't think that any of us could manage to eat everything on our plates! All very rich food, but it was pretty reasonably priced. Service was pretty poor as we entered the huge room, we were shown to our reserved table, and then the server disappeared for what seemed like ages. Discovered this simple restaurant through TripAdvisor recommendations and can only confirm the positive reviews. We managed to reserve what was perhaps the last table on a Saturday evening, a nice drive through hilly champagne countryside brought us directly to this perhaps the only restaurant ? in the very small village. We had a excellent very tasty and savoury duck hamburger and a similarly excellent simple planche de chef with several duck meat/ foie gras combinations. We were recommended this restaurant at one of the wineries in Pierry, and we got the chance to visit it for lunch on our biking trip. The service is very friendly, and it is an relaxing atmosphere on a farm in a small village. The food is really authentic farm food with ducks and foie gras from their local stock. Great wine selection and great food! (However the fries could have been crispier)
Great restaurant recommended to us by one of the champagne houses so glad they did. We were able to walk in without a booking for lunch no problems at all. Food was lovely, though the vegetables were very creamy/butter based really felt like something crunchy however my friends enjoyed the vegetables.
