We were very impressed by all aspects. this restaurant is on the outskirts of the old town, so we entered the city center to see what else was, without being impressed and returned to the hostel. full of inhabitants, very impressive style and quality. I had an excellent steak with a pepper sauce and the best fried potatoes in my life. When I started to tell the waitress how good the potatoes were, it ended my sentence, so it is clearly the standard expected! My wife's sole mill was the best she had in france.
we stopped here the 1st week of May after eating here before in May 2014. the name of the new establishment is at jackie although with the façade and exterior logo of the previous establishment; Old Cahors's inn. three-course menu at a very reasonable price for $19.50. good wine selection, the lunch menu seemed a little shorter than the previous establishment, that is, not as many choices, but always of good quality. . We came here after a local recommended the restaurant. We sat outside by a very hot evening. the menu of the day was excellent and the good wine at a reasonable price. a walk along the recommended river after dinner. My only reproach is that the service was too fast. We were served our entrance shortly after receiving our aperitif, which seemed to have to rush us to have wine with our meal. apart from that, it was an excellent restaurant.
friendly and excellent service in a beautiful historic restaurant of the old town. salads from the inn to start, very good, a little too dressed maybe. Juice and duck magret with pepper sauce, both with potatoes and vegetable purée, for dishes were excellent. puds were an apple pie and a chocolate cart with English cream. The cart was heavenly. Half a local red bottle. overall, ideal. beautiful walk along the river to get away from it.

rightly recommended by a nice lady as we walked in her wine shop and she referred to this hostel with fervour. it is a small, comfortable restaurant on the riverside in a small restaurant enclos with the owner quick, reactive and articulated staff. food is a variety of foie gras and nets with tiny portions of cheese, a good selection of local wines not to be missed (red) and decent desserts. local artisanal beer was good
It is a charming restaurant serving a delicious traditional cuisine. the staff is charming and helpful and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. it is bigger than it seems from the street and the room upstairs is particularly pleasant. tables are spaced enough to make it easy to talk. the restaurant serves qurcy specialties and the cuisine well. The jacque st nuts were delicious as well as the foie gras slice.
charming place and building with very friendly staff. beautiful map of regional wines. However, the cassoulet was a big disappointment. the duck was really not confined (not fallen from the bone) - it seemed that he had just been cooked with the beans. The flavors were just correct. Good goat cheese to follow.
there was the menu at 20 euros here for dinner - foie gras, salmon pile for entries, duck jam for dishes and cream burnt for dessert. all excellent. Friendly service, the chief checks that all guests are happy. very small restaurant with only a few tables inside and outside, although there is a second floor.

We visited Monday for lunch. easy parking space. restaurant on the ground floor and on the first floor of an old building with bricks and wooden pillars. service (very) fast. they offer a menu 20€/28,50€. Good quality. Animals can enter.
I ate in this restaurant twice in a week and I don't lay praises on food and staff. They've come in four to make two evenings a wonderful experience.
