Inexpensive considering tourist place, and fantastic food. Started with real French Onion Soup, great start. Rabbit Terrine so hard find and it was brilliant, artistic too with a leak dead centre. The cassoulet was as one person said “mouth watering” and plenty of duck beautifully...cooked. The steaks very good, and the potato stack best yet. Desert of chocolate and custard really topped of a terrific meal. How just the husband and wife can manage the front of house on their own is amazing for such a busy restaurant. So organised and attention to detail.
The menu was varied and had several set menu options that I’d have liked to try however I was tempted by the salmon and prawn tagliatelle. I have to say it was brilliant, I’ve marked the meal down in respect of the fact that some...of the tagliatelle was slightly undercooked.
This restaurant is in the Cite so we did wonder if volume would affect quality but the Confit de Canard I had here was simply the best I've had fantastic skin well cooked, wonderful duck on a bed of garlicky potatoes!! would go...back!
very good reception, very nice decoration on the room and tables. very nice presentation of dishes and tasteful dishes. very good value quality price. we will return to the family with pleasure to discover other dishes.
