Auberge Du Pont - Table reservation

A very nice restaurant serving excellent set lunches (closed Wed and Thurs) at very reasonable prices (14 to 20 euros for 3 courses). Restaurant also open in the evening. A very pleasant place to eat, overlooking the River Auvezere. It is easy to drive past this restaurant and miss it completely as it is located at the very northern edge of the village of Cherveix Cubas. When coming into the village from the north it is on the right, immediately beyond a sharp right-hand bend in the D704 road. The turning to the car park is immediately after the restaurant, on the right. If you overshoot, it is worth turning around in the centre of the village and coming back! We have eaten here several time...

We have a second home in Cherveix-Cubas and use the restaurant once or twice on each of our stays. The hosts, Cyril and Tanya and friendly and knowledgeable. Had dinner here recently with my husband and a friend, who had not been before. For starters we all had the Green Gazpacho which was divine and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Great value for money too.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. And the very lovely and hospitable owner speaks perfect English having lived and worked in England for a while. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Chose this restaurant after reading the reviews and we were delighted to spend an evening here. Everything we expected and more. If we are ever in the area again this is where we will eat. Highly recommended.

A very pleasant, bright room for lunch with a charming view of the river. A good choice of food at reasonable prices.
