If you are looking for another example of an out of the way village with no apparent commercial activity going on but a restaurant worth going to, then La Crémaillère in Anlhiac is well worth a try. It is just off the main road through the village, modern looking, bright, clean, and spacious inside with plenty of parking outside. The large dining room off to the right hand side had armchairs and comfortable seating at the end, presumably to wait for your table when it’s busy. We swigged Sangria aperos to start while we waited for our Crudites Italian style to arrive. When it did it was certainly a plate bursting with ingredients.
