Family run hotel situated about 15 min drive from Geneva Airport on the A1 freeway towards Lausanne. Experiencing unexpected excellence is alway a wonderful surprise especially in this world of empty hype. Hotel double room was large, spotlessly clean, bedding fresh and new, comfortable and quiet. Owner and staff, friendly and hospitable. Ample free parking. Dinner was extraordinary good, cooked perfectly with fresh local products, served outside under a blue sky partially surrounded by flowers, my taste buds were in heavenly bliss. This dinner would have equaled any 3 Star Michelin restaurant at a fraction of the cost!
Not the first time I leave with mixed feelings. The fish plat du jour was good, although it didn't come with any rice or potatoes, hence perhaps a bit too light...My friend went for the vegetarian option which was incredibly bland and eventually made her sick in the afternoon one wonders how fresh this was.Service was fine, except for the very long wait to get the menu...Much appreciated the little baked bread aperitif, but got home hungry
First time in this lovely restaurant but not the last. Very friendly welcome from the staff and excellent meal. We had a steak with vegetable garnish, meat of impeccable quality, large variety of vegetables and well-chosen wine. As for the chocolate coulant...so good, I would have had a second one but reason wouldn't allow me to. We will be back soon.
