We had a terrible experience at this place because of the following reasons:- Waited 2 hours for our meal- waiters were not friendly and constantly in a rush- ordered some drinks that never came- when our food finally arrived, the steaks 2 of us had ordered, actually was 1 steak that had been cut in half and served on 2 plates- we asked for the manager and when she came, she immediately interrupted us and said we only needed to pay for one (basically she new she had ripped us off-). after that we started eating and one of the other meals happened to be cold and they had brought the wrong sauce for the steaks (same color, so only found out after pouring it all over the steak). Five of us arrived for lunch. One had had the foresight to reserve table, a good idea. This is a good restaurant, nicely situated in the center of Belfort.I ordered the plat de jour, rabbit with gratin dauphinois. The plate was a huge portion of rabbit in a heavy cream sauce. I was grateful for the sauce, because the rabbit was a bit dry. The Dauphinois always adds a little weight. All of it tasted good.The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service correct. I would return but perhaps order less food next time. It was a lot to eat, even though I left a lot on the plate.
We stumbled upon this restaurant as it was the only place in town serving lunch after 2 pm, and this is it's main quality, together with it's location on the town square. Despite the rating, we decided to have lunch here, and were not disappointed, as service is indeed slow and forgetful. Food is average: not bad, but nothing special. My leg of lamb was clearly microwaved to reach it's lukewarm temperature, but tasted okay and the fries were good.Not the best choice if you're spoilt for choice before 2 pm, but okay to try if you're hungry mid-afternoon.
This restaurant is a bar with a food service. Its an excellent place to sit on a terrasse and enjoy a drink in the sun. The carpaccio looked good but was prepared well before with the edges cut off and dried out. The burger looked and tasted good but at 17eur it should...The wine is young and overpriced.There were at least 5 flies inside the restaurant but that seems a problem related to the area.

Yes, on a very wet Monday afternoon in July, we finally managed to find a place open for lunch in this rather sad town. It was about 2pm and everybody was leaving, but they did accept the 3 of us, even though we were soaking wet.We ordered the day's menu, fast service and full plates, tasty food; we enjoyed the local prosciutto style ham with rock-melon in a salad.Nice staff too.
Had lunch here, we wish we were staying here a few days longer so we could eat here everyday, lovely staff with friendly service, and the food. I can not tell you how much in word on how we enjoyed every morsel. Perfect in everyway and we are fussy eaters
Nice decoration, correct service and not too bad value. Half of the pub is for drinks and hanging out and the other half for eating. Suitable for drinks in a group or family but not if you're planning on a quite or romantic dinner.
Service was very poor (we had to wait 1.5h for our food). Waiters very unfriendly and the food isn't even worth mentioning (cold when served). Would recommand ANY other restaurant in belfort.

The service was unprofessional and uninterested, only one waiter could communicate in English. The food was very common. We wont be back.
