We found an empty table that was dirty and continued to wait for someone to serve us. Finally, after what felt like ages, they brought us menus. Still, we sat there waiting and waiting. No one ever apologized or acknowledged the poor service we received; it felt like a favor when someone finally came to our table. On a positive note, the chorizo burrito was delicious, but overall, I think I’ll choose to spend my money at a restaurant where I feel more welcome, rather than feeling like I'm in a scene from The Sixth Sense.
We visited the restaurant for Happy Hour, but the bar was closed since the owner's daughter was celebrating her 35th birthday. The restaurant was empty at the time. The hostess informed us that we could still order Happy Hour margaritas at the tables inside. The margaritas, chips, and salsa were outstanding. However, when we received the bill, we noticed we were charged full price for our drinks. My husband inquired about the charges, and the manager then corrected the bill to reflect the Happy Hour prices.
We chose this restaurant based on previous reviews and its convenient location for biking from our Airbnb. It was easy to reach, not far from where we were staying. The chicken soup was delightful, and all of our entrees were tasty. The prices were definitely reasonable. However, the service was a bit slow; our server seemed to overlook us, possibly because we were seated outside. Despite that, we'll definitely eat here again the next time we're in Newport. This place was fantastic!
I visited in the early afternoon for a drink, and the place was quiet since there were only a few people there. I didn't eat, so I can't comment on the food, but the service was outstanding. The staff member was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area when we asked a couple of questions. The drink prices were reasonable, and it's a really nice bar overall.

I was really impressed with the service; both the hosts and the waitstaff were a delight. However, the food was not up to par. I might consider returning if they would add more seasoning and spice to what should be Mexican cuisine—that's just my take on it. On a positive note, the music and atmosphere were fantastic and really lifted my spirits.
This restaurant is part of a chain with over a dozen locations. While each one has a similar vibe, there are subtle differences that make each unique. The chips and salsa are fantastic, the fajitas are delicious, and the drinks are enjoyable as well.
The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. The restrooms could use a bit more cleanliness, but overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
