We spent the beginning of our spring break in Newport Beach with our teenage sons and their friends. Since we had some dietary considerations, we were looking for restaurants that could accommodate nut allergies and offer delicious vegan dishes. We came across West Coast Deli, which had received great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it exceeded our expectations! The manager, Josh, was incredibly warm and helpful, taking our needs into account, and the staff prepared some truly delicious food. The sourcing and recipes were excellent! Every sandwich we tried was outstanding, and our discerning vegan friend was thrilled. I can't recommend this...
This well-known little sandwich shop by the beach has a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. They were eager to assist us in choosing something we would truly enjoy, offering a variety of options, including both vegetarian and meat selections. We tried the endless mimosa, which was a big hit, along with several delicious sandwiches. The bread was exceptional, and I highly recommend it. The food was satisfying, with complex flavors that weren't overwhelming. Overall, I had a wonderful experience here.
This is one of my favorite places for a quick bite! FOOD: the Summer Zephyr, the Sloppy Barney and the Beef are a must try. I’m not sure why their really simple Summer Zephyr is so delicious. they make their on chips and it s awesome! The parm cheese on top just make it so good. the California salad is really good too SERVICE: really friendly and accommodating At Newport Beach Restaurant Week they have a $10 dollars menu, which includes a full size sanduíche and a beer!
We both got the turkey with avocado, tomato and sprouts. The sandwich was very good. It is a little on the pricier side, but it is a better quality sandwich than a chain. If you are not starving you probably could split a sandwich with someone, we definitely could have, and brought the cost down. The food seemed very fresh and the atmosphere was great as well. I am glad we stopped in!

I just had the best breakfast burrito of my life! I assure you, I don’t say this lightly—I take my food seriously! I regret not taking a picture of the burrito, but once I took a bite, I couldn’t stop eating it... I apologize! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Don’t miss out on this place!
One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I tried the Stallone, and the ricotta cheese combined with the tomato sauce in the sandwich was simply perfect. It’s a unique twist on an Italian-inspired sandwich!
Love this place! I tried everything; Sandwiches, salads, etc... I didn't find anything I don't like! I love everything! The atomic sauce is brilliant if they would sell it from the bottle, I would buy it!
Excellent sandwiches. Very unique offerings in an iconic part of Newport Beach. Highly recommended for everybody, not just skateboarders.
