The restaurant is located by the pier of Newport Beach. Parking either on the street or beach parking. I tried both the chili and new england clam chowder. They have xsmall size which I thought was perfect for those of us who eat with our eyes and want to sample without overstuffing haha. Also got the fish n chips. Plenty of crispy fries which I also dipped into my chili for my own chili cheese fries. The fish was perfectly crispy. It was also supposed to come with cole slaw per the menu bur I guess I ordered too much food because both the restaurant and myself forgot about it. Nikki, our server, was fantastic and engaged in great conversation with us about the menu and drinks. The food was truly delicious! The chili and cornbread dish paired with the salad was spot on, and the turkey sandwich had incredible flavor overall. The fish and chips with tartar sauce were amazing as well! The char on the burger patty added a wonderful taste. I definitely plan to return the next time I'm in the area.
After our beach walk, we enjoyed lunch on the terrace. We ordered Huevos Rancheros, a Surfers Burrito with chorizo, a Chicken Caesar Salad, a house salad, and the Storm Island Combo with coleslaw, all paired with a delicious Bloody Mary. Everything was tasty and left us feeling satisfied. I definitely want to return to this area next time. Our small group is from New Mexico and Washington.
I have her x-small chili and little Clam Chowder. It was pretty good and delicious. Although, chili was only warm and bite on the salty side. Clam Chowder was beautiful and hot, but when I came near the ground, it really started to get salty and had some sand in my shells. I also have jalapeno cheese poppers and that was okay. They gave a lot of ranch.

I loved this place as a child and still enjoy it now as an adult. Be sure to try the Deluxe Charlie's Chili Omelette! The outdoor tables are perfect for a lovely breakfast with a refreshing sea breeze. While the place can get crowded, the service remains excellent. Highly recommended!
The service and staff were fantastic, but the food was just mediocre—not bad, but not great either. However, considering the affordable prices, it’s understandable not to expect too much. Overall, the ambiance is pleasant. Food rating: 3/5.
Typical breakfast offerings at this joint. I had an omelette and it was ok. My coffee had some grinds in it, which I was able to fish out. Our server was very nice and attentive. Great people watching as folks head to the pier.
Our server was incredibly beautiful and friendly! We ordered a cheese and delicious omelet, and the portion was generous. The mimosa was well-made. There's also great outdoor seating available.

So so enjoyed this place from the large and delicious tuna melts to the humongous yummy onion rings to the wonderful music and the very nice waitress!!!
Clam chowder was really good. I would definitely return for more chowder. I didn't like the garlic toast.
