While at the restaurant to get some take out for dinner, there was a young man at the register who greet me with a smile. He appeared to be new and learning. Along side of him was a colleague Wayne who was operating the drive through and helping the young man waiting on me. They both were very friendly and Wayne was very patient and great with the young man. I placed my order and when it was ready, he checked everything. The burgers we ordered were hot, fresh and tasty and that was even after a 15 minute ride in the car. A and W in Stouffville is a good burger place. Burgers are great and is in a good location as there are many subdivisions surrounding it, and more to come. However, there are a few issues with this burger place. The staff doesn't really know much and they always seem very sleepy and like they don't care. Not friendly at all and barely said hi to us. WHen we sat down at one of the window seats, we noticed that there was a great amount of dust on the window ledge. This is very unappetizing. Food also took a long time and should of been very quick as there were four or five people here. We rally love the food here. For the most part, unlike McDonalds, it is hot and great tasting. However, they seem intent on playing crappy music when there should be NONE at ALL! and they keep the temperature like it is a walk in freezer! When you goto a place like this do you really go too listen to someone else's poor taste in music or do you go there to eat? BTW, Please your wash your windows inside and out or better still hire someone who knows how to do it properly!!!

The cashier providing customer service was extremely friendly and helpful! Despite being very busy, she served us with a smile. Other customers were making unreasonable demands, but she handled them with professionalism and a smile. Unfortunately, we don't know her name, but we were at the Stouffville location at 1078 Hoover Park on March 1, 2024 at 9:30am.
This is my favorite A&W in Southern Ontario. They always use fresh ingredients and provide fast service. In the summer, they have an outdoor patio and nice seating options inside. The best part is the complimentary refills of Root Beer.
No ice for drinks, when requested the staff didn’t even bother responding. Just a hand sign to say no ice. Drinks are diluted to the max. The worst A&E in town.
Food is way over priced. Always have to park and wait after going through the drive through. For fast food its pretty slow.
