We used to love Babbo, but after our last two visits, what we initially thought was a fluke has sadly turned into a disappointing trend. On our first bad visit, after many years of enjoying meals with family and friends, our orders came out incorrect. We tried to overlook it because the staff was kind and very professional. However, on Sunday, when I attempted to place an order over the phone, I was rudely told that they don’t take pre-orders. So, I called back closer to the time we wanted our food. I was quoted a 15-minute wait, and since we live about 10 minutes away, we left 5 minutes after placing the call. When my husband and I arrived, we ended up waiting over 15 minutes for our food....
Now, let's talk about the food! I had the spaghetti with meat sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! The sauce had the perfect balance of flavor and spice. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the portion size was just right. I also sampled the bread, which was fresh and warm—a perfect accompaniment to the meal.
The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and well-informed about the menu. They made excellent recommendations and were very accommodating with any special requests we had. We felt truly well cared for throughout our visit.

I have not been to this location, but I love their food from my other visits in other locations. You can expect a standard. We got here since our reservations at another place that we made a reservation did not seat over for over 30 mins past our reservation time. We waited 15 mins for a table but getting to the hostess stand was a different story. We waited behind a couple that is waiting to put their name down. A man walks in and pushes he way to the front and get his name on the list before others (SMH), but the hostess took his name! The waiter was great but he is so busy. Placed an order for takeout. While the person that took my order was pleasant, the employees I encountered when picking up acted like I was a nuisance. Thankfully I checked to see if my order was complete as it was not. When I brought it to their attention, treated more like a nuisance. The extra bread I ordered was burned. I guess that’s what I get for asking what I paid for. I have been a loyal customer of the Babbo’s location for years and always recommended it to others. I don’t know what’s going on, maybe new management? Whatever it is, I’ll be hard pressed to return or recommend. Very sad considering the lack of good restaurants on the west side.

This is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant that has been a staple for 20 years. The food is excellent, with a wide variety of pasta dishes, pizzas, and dinner salads on the menu. They also feature nightly specials, so be sure to ask your server about those. Our server, Stephanie, was absolutely delightful and consistently checked in on us during our meal.
