On June 27th my fifth novel, Foxden Hotel, was launched with a tea party at the fabulous 1940s Cafe, Back In Time For Tea, on the Leicester Road, in Lutterworth. The food was lovely and there was plenty of it. The ladies who served us couldn't have done more to make the launch go smoothly, and the atmosphere was perfect. Journalist Andrew Carpenter joined us for tea and took some lovely photographs. One was in the Rugby Advertiser. Thank you Anna and the ladies who work at, Back In Time For Tea, you made the lauch very special.

for anyone who has the chance to come back in the time and enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of the wartime, this is the perfect place, with warm, welcoming staff and eating that gives them the homemade cozy feeling, everything was wonderful and tasty and is worth visiting, I cannot wait to visit again!

we would have spent hours listening to the wonderful 40s soundtrack and catching all nostalgia. eating is traditional, tasty and cheap, my son was impressed that bovril was offered as a drink. the staff was very friendly and made us very welcome.
