I came here for a bday brunch on a Sunday, food was great, service was good. This is a black owned establishment and I love the food and culture it represents. Try the lemon pepper wings OMG crispy like Korean fried chicken and seasoned so well. Also had the salmon and grits from the brunch menu. Salmon cooked to perfection. Some other dishes my family had was the shrimp and grits (so yummy) and the steak and eggs. On Sundays there's a selected menu for brunch. They play great music and unlimited mimosa specials. I've also been here to try the regular bbq menu items one friday.. drinks were great and everything we tried was also amazing (buffalo fried shrimp, rack of ribs, more wings, empana...
Waited over 35 minutes for them to say that they weren’t making anymore entrees and they just had appetizers. Came on a Friday night and there was one waitress working who did not write one thing down. Did not even end up getting the appetizers because it took her another 15 to come back to us. Was able to get 2 pre-made frozen drinks that came out to $30.64 and were nothing special. Just avoid.
Very nice soul food restaurant. The staff was very courteous and our food was delicious. Although only the brunch menu was available. I hope to go back to experience the full dinner menu so I can give them a 5 star rating.
