My best friend and I met up for breakfast at Bacon and Jam. This was our first time eating here. I ordered the Opa omelet and my friend ordered the Butcher Omlete. Our waitress was amazing she welcomed us to the restaurant and gave us plenty of time to order and to eat. We didn't feel rushed at all. She was very attentive with our coffee refills. Everything was wonderful and I recommend everyone to eat at Bacon and Jam. I have to thank my daughter for recommending this restaurant. If I could give 10 stars I would. Definitely coming back.
Awesome intimate breakfast spot! The food tastes as great as it looks! It's fresh! I ordered the Very Berry French toast topped with fresh fruit, powdered sugar a sauce drizzled on. Nice hostess friendly waiters waitresses. Great atmosphere! There's a sitting counter and kid friendly. Can also purchase a few things from their shop. Update visit: Still an awesome spot after all this time! I ordered the Apple Crum pancakes
My friend and I tried Bacon and Jam for breakfast and glad we did. Welcoming atmosphere and very clean. Our server was Cheryl and she made sure our coffees were topped off quickly. She has a great personality. Food was absolutely delicious and pricing was great. Large portions. Will be back again to try lunch. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
I love this place! I have dined and ordered takeout. Had a delicious breakfast of REAL corned beef hash! Not that canned stuff very healthy portions and quick friendly service! Reasonably priced, whether you dine in or take-out the portion size and quality is the same! Book a table now
Until today, it had been awhile since I was here. Happy to report that the coffee remains great but almost of equal importance to the coffee is that Bacon an Jam still has the best corned beef hash on the South Side.
My kids and I love Bacon and Jam. It’s in a quiet spot, parking could be better because it’s always packed…but it’s always packed because the food is good and plentiful and the service is great. It’s a gem
Chilaquiles with chorizo, flavor was there but an enormous amount of soft and mushy tortillas. The place had the air conditioner super high and food got cold quickly.
