Buscamos por Tripadvisor un restaurante que estuviera cerca del hotel y que tuviera buenas opiniones de cocina suiza. Acertamos plenamente. El restaurante tiene una antigüedad de 400 años y está ubicado en un típico chalet suizo. La gran mayoría de mesas estaban ocupadas por suizos lo que es una primera garantía de calidad. Ensaladas, pescados y carnes muy bien cocinados y presentados pero la fondee tiene nota de sobresaliente. Wir waren an einem verregneten Abend im Bären und haben uns für ein Käsefondue mit Steinpilzen und ein Fleischfondue Chinoise entschieden. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, der Service freundlich, kompetent und sehr aufmerksam.Wir wurden mindestens 5 Mal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Auch die Weinempfehlung mit einem infiltrierten Pinot Noir aus dem Wallis hat perfekt gepasst.Auch wenn die Einheimischen unter den vielen Asiaten in Unterzahl sind, tut dies der Atmosphäre in diesem rustikalen Restaurant keinen Abbruch! Wir können den Bären ohne Einschränkung empfehlen.
We spent 5 nights here. It was one of best of our summer vacation in Europe. The have vey helpful staff. V clean hotel. Location is great of city center yet easy to reach walking or by regular bus. If I come back to interlaken sure it will be my destination
Beautiful old restaurant on the edge of the old town. The food was great and authentically Swiss (although I lacked the courage to try the horse meat) Service friendly and efficient. You need to book. Highly recommended

Rustikales Ambiente, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, gute Weine, das Essen okay, ausser das Rahmschnitzel und das panierte Schnitzel. Beide waren innen trocken. Die Desserts waren durchgehend fein.
Traditional Swiss food with excellent service and taste is so good, highly recommended , I tried the fondue with alcohol and the hash brown, taste is good!!
Sehr aufmerksamer Service, aufgestelltes Team, das Stroganoff ist super. Auch der Hund war willkommen. Gerne wieder .
