I want to try new things, but not just for the sake of trying something new. Like I've never thrown a crayon at my car before. I haven't done this because I haven't seen the value in it, but maybe I'm being too close minded. Throwing a crayon at my car could give me the perspective I need. Maybe I'm not throwing crayons at my car because deep down I'm scared about what I'll learn about myself if I do. Or I'm not doing it because I'm scared about what others might think. There was no one ahead of me in line… I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and waited 19 minutes. I supposed they were prioritizing online orders…? It was a fine bagel but 100% not worth that wait. Also worth noting, the bagel I received was not the flavour I ordered. But again, not worth going back.
Bagels weren’t really fresh. Sold out of most. Staff wasn’t friendly. Just not impressed. Portions for smears are completely off for a dozen bagels but honestly they were hard as rocks. I’ll pass on this place.
Millbrae may be a long way from New York, but the bagels here are superb. Highly recommend the Millbrae special on an egg bagel with the scallion spread and sprouts!!
