I have used Baked by Susan for two events so far. In June, we ordered a strawberry shortcake and beautifully decorated sugar cookies for my daughter's christening. Just last weekend, we ordered her birthday cake, banana-themed sugar cookies, and a variety of cake pops for her first birthday celebration. When I visited to place the order for the monkey-themed party, I brought along some screenshots from a Google search, and they transformed my ideas into reality. Everything was not only visually beautiful but also delicious. I will definitely be returning to Baked by Susan in the future.
Susan recently catered our benefit cocktail party, and we couldn’t have been happier with her service. From the very first phone call to the day of the event, Susan was enthusiastic and offered creative ideas for organizing our outdoor gathering. She worked within our budget and provided a wonderful variety of finger foods, paired with delicious lemonade. When we had to postpone our original date, Susan was very understanding and remained unfazed by the possibility of having a rain date. We will definitely reach out to Susan for our next event!
Baked by Susan truly saved the day! I made a last-minute request for a cake for my coworker's birthday after my initial order from another bakery didn't work out. They were able to deliver the cake in just two hours, and their staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. We are in love with the custom cake Susan made for our daughter's 3 year celebration! She wanted an owl and it came out perfect. She was so excited. And of course it tasted absolutely delicious, too. Everyone loved it. The ordering process was so quick and easy and we only ordered a few days out, too. We will definitely be ordering from Baked by Susan for our next celebration.

I purchased a cake for my husband's birthday and there were 2 things that really bothered me: my husband's name was written sloppy and the cake was very dense and not soft and moist almost as if someone used the wrong cake batter gluten free or perhaps the cake batter for the Tres Leche cake which is also made on site. Disappointing!
My fiancée (now wife) Shannon reached out to Susan about having her do our cake. Susan was so responsive, easy to work and made wonderful suggestions all of our guests raved about the cake, which was both beautiful and delicious. We will definitely be returning to Baked By Susan and highly recommend!
If you're looking for gluten-free or vegan options in Westchester, you have to try Baked by Susan. She's amazing! I've sampled several other places for birthday cakes, and they were only half as good but cost twice or even three times as much. Baked by Susan is my go-to for life!
The cake turned out spectacular! It tasted every bit as delicious as it appeared! It was absolutely perfect, and I couldn't be more thrilled! Once the cake was served, there was a hush among everyone as they were all too absorbed in savoring Susan's masterpiece!

We chose the mini cheesecake this trip and we're mildly disappointed. For the steep price of $10, I definitely expected more ....more cheesecake and less crust. The ratio was 50/50 and the crust really dominated each bite.
Nice bakery.. love the outdoor seating.. but too pricey for non bakery items..ie.. chicken pot pie was $30..
