I like filter coffee, a lot. To me nothing is as comforting and invigorating as a cup of fresh, hot, black filter coffee. Ideally made with good quality beans. Many coffee shops just don’t do it. There’s an espresso machine culture and the humble filter has fallen by the wayside; not to mention the association with bad coffee at motorway services and burnt dregs in workplace kitchens. Baker Street coffee fulfilled my need entirely. I walked in, was greeted with a smile, and, seeing filter on the wall board, I asked if there was any.
