After spending six days in Vannes there are three crêperies that I would recommend without hesitation, and this is the second (but probably No.1 out of the three). The seating area is quite large and bright, but booking is still advisable since this crêperie is very popular. The evening we were there a pre-booked party of 20 Americans arrived. Very pleasant staff, good varied menu and the service was quick. Savoury crêpes were moist and tasty, but the sweet crêpes were the most artistically presented I have ever seen. How happy we were to bring our American friends to a place where we were warmly welcomed and served the most incredible and yet classic galettes and crepes! My husband had the special, boudin noir galette with rhubarb!! Not something I would have had, but he loved it. I had the usual: complet: egg, ham, cheese galette. Delicious. Our friends had salmon in theirs and raved. Cafe Gourmand was wonderful. Be surprised! Terrace seating as well, very pleasant. This place is worth a detour!!
We came here with our baby in his large pram, but were welcomed by the staff and easily accommodated within this restaurant. Both our main course galettes and dessert crepes were amazing - there's such a wide variety of flavour options, I would have loved the opportunity to come back again, but we were only in Vannes for the one day.Delicious wine and locally made lemonade rounded out the delicious meal. You cannot stay in Vannes and do not taste one of these wonderful gallettes (or may be two ). Besides the location is really nice (we had dinner outside in a very romantic courtyard!) and personnel is so kind! One last recommendation: do not forget sweet crepes and be curious!!!

Six people wanted crepes and this was recommended by the hotel. The taxi driver remarked it was the best in town. Every diner raved about the quality and variety. Plat and dessert crepes were delicious. And the rices were reasonable. We'll go back
You can not stop by in Brittany without a crêpes experience. Then Balade en Crepanie should be your place. Wide variety of crêpes (salty or sweet) with 1st quality products for exquisite results with warm and careful hosts. I will be back!
This is a popular restaurant for families and you need to make a reservation, although they fitted us in as we had arrived early. the food was tradition Breton and very enjouable

Made very welcome, and had very tasty galette and crepe. Taking into account poor ex rate, I found it a little expensive.
