Ball Chain is the place to go when visiting fremantle! Great selection of drinks including beers, gins, vodkas, tequila, rum and our favourite Whisky! If your after something different and rare yet well priced this is the place to go! The food is so yummy! Especially jalapeño poppers and the fried chicken! Must try it- we now crave it! They have a great outdoor area overlooking the fremantle park which is great in the summer and catered with heaters in the winter! They even have dog bowls for your puppy and games to play like chess,Jenga and who's it! The staff are super friendly and even have a laugh with you! My favourite drinking place for sure!
great atmosphere, location, food and drink always. outdoor seating opposite the park, plenty to watch. live acoustic singer on sundays. football (derby) was playing on screen as well. board games and cards available inside if the weather is no good. great place, will go back again happily by ourselves or with friends.
One of the best Sunday sesh's I've had for a long time... awesome weather, great friends, super helpful staff, yummy pub grub and fantastic music.... big shout out to the singer for picking just the right songs!!!
A refreshing change from the poncey 'wait here to be seated ' pretentious cafe bars. This is a proper pub! You can eat if you wish, and the food looks good. Do yourself a favour and go to the good pubs .....

Great staff, great food, great live music! Went to freo to bar hop and only stayed at one place! Had the shawshank chicken burger with onion rings and beef burger with fries spot on with flavour and size!
Incredible venue who go above and beyond to host and sponsor events for the Children's Tumour Foundation. Amazing staff, management, service and food. Highly recommend!
I had the best birthday party there last night! The band were fantastic and the food and beer was great. It was one of those pubs where i felt everyone knew my name!
