I've eaten from this restaurant a few times before and the food has always been good. However, last night we decided to order a takeaway. The person on the phone informed us that delivery would take just over an hour due to high demand. Unfortunately, three hours later, we received our food, which was quite mediocre and almost cold. I couldn't even call them to express my concerns because they had taken the phone off the hook. This experience was far below the standard of service I've come to expect from a normally reliable place. Very disappointing.
What can I say other than fantastic? The menu is incredibly interesting, featuring unique dishes that you won't find in most restaurants, alongside some traditional options as well. I can honestly say I've never had a better curry outside of India, a place we visit quite often. As an added bonus, it’s a BYOB establishment. The atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is very passionate about the food and the overall experience they offer. In short, if you're in Tewkesbury, don’t miss out on this place. Service: Dine-in.
I recently ordered dinner from this restaurant and it was an excellent experience. The food was absolutely fantastic, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared, truly a delight to eat. The service was equally impressive, also a solid 5 out of 5 — the staff was friendly and efficient, making the ordering process a breeze. Lastly, the atmosphere, even for takeout, was lovely, contributing to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this spot for a delicious dinner!
We’re not local to the area, just visiting and we decided to try the Balti Palace based on other reviews. So glad we did. The greeting and service were friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely wonderful. It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a meal so much. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Have had 2 take aways now and will never go anywhere else. This is the best quality curry I’ve had in the 12 years I have been in Tewkesbury. Well done to this place. Its so needed in this town.
