I frequently visit Bambu in San Mateo. It was a pleasant surprise to find it in Millbrae, next to where we parked. Their space was nice and clean. It provides ample seating to enjoy one's favorite dessert or drink.There was only one person serving and making the orders. She hardly spoke or engaged with the customers. #6 Fruit Addict is my alltime fave!It's really refreshing and I love the natural sweetness of the ingredients: lychee, jackfruit, longan, red tapioca, slices of coconut meat, palm seed and pandan jelly in coconut milk and topped with finely shaved ice.My husband's go-to drink is the avocado smoothie with no boba.Love the fact that you can get the same quality and taste whichever...
I ordered an avocado smoothie and the avocado tasted rotten. I decided to inform the owner, Wendy or Winnie, about the issue. Instead of addressing my concerns, she was rude and hung up on me. Shortly after, a staff member called back to offer a refund, indicating that they were aware of the issue with the avocados. However, I was not satisfied with the treatment I received and mentioned that I would post a negative review on Yelp. The staff member then hung up on me again. This experience was ridiculous and I will not be returning to this restaurant. I am only giving one star in order to post this review, as they do not deserve any stars considering their poor customer service.
There was a long wait before anyone came out to take our order. In addition to that our order was inputted incorrectly and we were provided no refund. We had ordered two #10 but we’re given #1 instead. When we informed the staff that the drinks were not what we ordered although they told us that we had made the mistake of ordering the wrong drink.They did remake them for us but they would not refund us for the price difference . Their reason was that they had already made the more expensive drinks and that we should check the receipt next time and take it up with corporate. They did not apologize for their mistake and was extremely rude. Will not be going back again.
Cute little shop for che and drinks. I had a passionfruit orange drink, refreshing bubbly. A friend tried halo halo, it did not quite have all the ingredients but was pretty tasty. They have Vietnamese coffee that supposed to be good but it was late afternoon and I wanted to sleep tonight. It is a nice place to enjoy dessert and hang out a little with friends.

I wanted to bring to your attention that two negative reviews were affecting your business, potentially causing you to lose a loyal customer. I'm glad to see that the issue has been addressed and the delivery fee is back to $0. Now I can enjoy my daily smoothie again.
I love the Millbrae Bambu as they consistently deliver quality drinks and desserts in the last few years. Taro Coconut Smoothie with boba, Smashed Avocado, Pandan Waffle are among my favorites! And, the owner, and all the staff, esp. Angeli are always SO nice!
We had such wonderful time hang out at this dessert place, the other dessert didn't opened by Google hour so we all went to Bambu.Everything is on the not sweet side, even though though the dessert is not amazing but the atmosphere is quite awesome.
The boba milk teas are decent, but they are seriously overpriced and have too little boba compared to the amount of liquid.
