*NOT AUTHENTIC THAI* I warned you! Ordered my favorite dish, Basil fried rice for the first time here and I could smell the rancid fish oil before it even reached the table. The dish was literally inedible because it smelled and tasted so bad. All the other curry dishes used the same generic sauce and fish oil which overpowered everything. The waitress gave me a bad attitude about the whole experience when I politely asked if they could take it back. She really pushed for me to get something else, all while having a huge ugly frown on her face. I didn't really want to get anything else, but I decided to get sushi. This was the most poorly made sushi I have ever seen. All the sushi chefs and...

This restaurant was one of the few open on Father's Day, offering a fairly typical selection of Thai dishes. The coconut shrimp were absolutely delicious, and the fried tofu was cooked to perfection. While the tom kha gai was enjoyable, I prefer it with a creamier coconut milk base. The som tum was decent but a bit bland; we requested medium spice, which turned out to be a mistake. The penang gai was good, but the grapow gai fell short, overwhelmed by onions and bell peppers without much flavor. The ambiance has the feel of a converted coffee shop, but it is clean and comfortable. The service was friendly and attentive.

The Drunken Noodles were truly a spiritual experience! I tend to eat quickly, but this dish made me slow down and savor every bite. The aromas were rich and complex, the noodles were cooked to perfection, and the chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The vegetables were steamed just right, and the portion was generous! Honestly, this is the best Drunken Noodle I’ve ever had—absolutely breathtaking. I would give it an 11/10. The service was good, although it was during the early afternoon, so I can’t speak for how it would be during busier times. We will definitely be coming back!

The complimentary soup was simple yet delightful, featuring a light broth with just the right seasoning, along with peas, carrots, and green onions. Our visit started off a bit slow around 12:15 pm, and we even joked about standing outside to invite people in! But soon enough, more groups and couples began to arrive. There was plenty of comfortable seating available. For those looking for vegetarian options, they offer Vegetable Curry with Tofu, vegetable rice, vegetable soups, and rice noodles, all plant-based and gluten-free. Book a table now

Dear itty-bitty bug,Thank you for your feedback. Are you certain you visited Banana Blossom Thai Cuisine? This is due to the fact that we do not currently have Shushi.Secondly, we focus on our customers, and as the owner, I interact directly with all of our servers. We served our clients in the morning shift, when we only have waiters, and we have an American waitress serve in the evening shift, who I am sure is extremely polite and helpful to our customers.

This was my first visit, and it was truly amazing! The service was excellent; the gentleman who attended to us was either the owner or very invested in the restaurant. He was friendly and very attentive. The food arrived quickly and was served hot, which I really appreciated. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was delicious. This Thai restaurant is fantastic! Whenever I'm back in St. George, I'll definitely return.

8/12/2023: I believe this is the only Thai restaurant in St. George, UT. It is fairly spacious. It was hot outside and they should have cooked the dining room better. Service speed and food availability was average. The pineapple chicken fried rice rated 7/10 (chicken saltless). The shrimp pad thai rates 8/10, could have been more peanut-y.

The curry was the best; I got red curry. The crispy tofu appetizer came with many pieces, and I loved it. I had never had spicy edamame before, but it was very good, though a little messy. I'll be eating here again if I ever come back to St. George!Vegetarian options: You can get tofu as a meatParking: Many Book a table now

This is some of the best Thai food I've ever had. We ordered a mixed vegetable dish and green curry with vegetables. The photos don't capture how good it really is. It was absolutely delicious. I would definitely return in a heartbeat.
