Banilla Bakery offers a great selection of vegan cakes, cookies, bread, scones, savouries and fantastic coffee and tea. The choice of cakes is huge so it's difficult to choose but are all homemade by owner Laura. We've had lime drizzle cake, biscoff cookies, cinnamon rolls, peanut butter cookies, carrot pecan muffin, Mac n cheese, homemade focaccia sandwich with roast vegetables, pesto cheese. All absolutely delicious. A visit to the Lakes wouldn't be the same without a visit to Banilla Bakery. Highly recommended. Updated from previous review on 2021-11-10
Sells all sorts of items soups, pasties, ciabatta, hot drinks like coffees and fancy hot chocolate, and LOTS OF CAKE! So far I’ve had a cinnamon bun (ok I’ve had two), an autumn slice, a blueberry and vanilla scone, and I’ve had a bite of the carrot cake. All delicious. I’m sad I’m not going to be in Lakes for a while as I’d like to try much more of what Banilla has to offer. Really friendly staff too. It’s a nice place.
What a great find! We visited the Lakes and didn’t expect to find a fully vegan bakery sadly it was on our way home so we popped in for a take-away cake so we didn’t miss out. dipped and immediately loved the place. the girls are very friendly and the cakes are delicious. I couldn't help but grab three of the cinnamon rolls, a bakewell cake and a jammy dodger cake to bring home. all taste excellent. also the quality of the coffee is very high. could no longer recommend.

I had been looking forward to visiting this 100% vegan bakery for a while and it didn't disappoint. I had a focaccia sandwich and a chocolate orange cookie. Both were delicious and the cookie was massive. The brownies and mince pies looked extremely tempting too must fit in another visit soon.
Who would have thought to find a vegan bakery in a small town of Windermere. Delicious cakes, especially brownies and cinnamon roll. The foccacia was amazing. Italian approved I think we've tried everything on display and it was all great! It made me want to open my own little bakery ;D
I wish there were more places like these. everything is vegan. we were spoiled for the choice so got 5 items between 2 of us all amazing. the biscoff brownie was particularly good
small bakery at the rande of windermere. all the cakes looked fantastic, hard to choose which one has to have. that is really a must if in the opposite.
