This review is strictly on the afternoon tea experience only. The food was absolutely wonderful, the lady who served food and the male staff (presumed the owner) were both very kind and friendly. I felt that the afternoon tea was an absolute treat since there was nothing to fault with, that was only until it was ruined by the rude woman who was driving past in black 4x4 (presumed female host). After we finished the afternoon tea, I decided to let my dog out from our car to let him stretch his legs before we set off, the rude woman mentioned above asked me if I was looking for a public footpath so I answered no. She then started to lecture me about the ‘no dog policy’ in the property as well...
Live in Windermere would say over the years I have been to most places for afternoon tea . Cedar manor however was quite possibly THE best . Little soup to start , then mini quiche with salad , chilled beautiful sandwiches , warm scones delicious cakes . It was absolutely perfect . Even the cup of tea was sensational . It’s 5 stars from me . Would definitely recommend will definitely be returning . Loved it .
We have recently visited Cedar Manor for Afternoon Tea and it was the best Afternoon Tea we have ever had!! Being gluten free it can be hard to find places that accommodate, but this Afternoon Tea came out looking exactly the same and tasted amazing! All the staff were great and we would definitely recommend. We would love to come back!
Afternoon Tea to celebrate the retirement of a friend we were looked after so well from the moment we arrived. The quality of the food and service was excellent and the attention to detail was very much noted by our small party. Such a lovely experience and exceptionally good value.

The best afternoon tea ever and would highly recommend the hotel is perfectly positioned and the rooms luxurious and so comfortable the perfect place to relax with such warm and friendly hosts who make you feel so welcome the breakfast is superb and we look forward to returning
Had afternoon tea with a friend last Saturday,fabulous the sun was shining we sat in the lovely garden and everything was beautiful will definitely go back the attention to detail and service 10 out 10
Excellent GLUTEN FREE tea, I have been given the same as my husband but gluten free and it was delicious! Years since I have something so special, the attention and atmosphere was unique!!!! Thxxxxxs

Had an amazing afternoon tea at the cedar manor today. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. Liz was wonderful, so kind and helpful. Would well recommend.
